A few years ago, when swiggy and zomato were not there and eating out from restaurants was a once-a-month luxury, I would crave for something with paneer during the weekends. With limited time, this paneer bhurji was the perfect dish to cook with simple pantry ingredients. Sharing this bachelor friendly recipe with our community!

Paneer Bhurji
Ingredients
- Grated Paneer – 1½ cups
- Onion – 1
- Tomatoes – 2
- Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tsp
- Ghee – 1 tbsp
- Cumin Seeds – 1 tsp
- Kasuri Methi – 1 tsp
- Cilantro – 1 handful
- Salt to taste
Spice Mix:
- Turmeric Powder – ½ tsp
- Coriander/Sambar Powder – 1½ tbsp
- Red Chilli Powder – 1½ tbsp
- Garam Masala – 1 tsp
Method:
- Chop onions & tomatoes
- In a kadhai, add ghee and temper cumin seeds.
- Add onions, ginger garlic paste, and sauté until the onion becomes translucent.
- Add chopped tomatoes, spice mix & salt, sauté until it becomes mushy.
- Add grated paneer and saute for a few minutes.
- Add kasuri methi & garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve it with Indian breads or use it as a filling for dosas or sandwiches.
